Lights, camera, and settings are all important.
To begin the list, we'll go with something straightforward. Make sure to make these camera adjustments because the default settings aren't doing anyone any favors – with the exception of your adversary!
Camera Shake: Turn it off to make it easier to see and react to what's going on in the game while you're playing.
You should set the field of view to 110 in order to see more of the field and game action.
Set the distance to approximately 260 meters.
Height is set to approximately 100.
Inflation-inducing pads
In 1v1 Rocket League, Boost can provide you with that all-important advantage over your opponent. Make sure to use the pads on a regular basis as much as possible. It does not matter if you do not require the boost yourself; by using the boost pads, you will prevent your opponent from utilizing them (also known as boost starving).
Boost with a flip
It is possible to conserve boost while simultaneously increasing your own speed by employing this method.3 consecutive front flips will result in "supersonic speed," and if your car is leaving fire trails as a result, you know you're doing it right.
Optional Flip Tip: If the opponent is charging the ball down from behind, you should also use the front flip during the kick-off. The flip provides you with an advantage by increasing the area of contact between your car and the ball.
Defend yourself from the back of the field.
This allows you to see the entire attacking build-up without having to reverse your position to make a tackle or save on the ball. This method prevents you from being caught off guard defensively when your opponent launches an offensive attack.
Play one-on-one matches
1-v-1 matches in Rocket League are critical to your skill development because you are held accountable for each and every action, whether you are defending or attacking the opposing team.
