HABC LEVEL 3 CLOSE PROTECTION OPERATIONS

ATLAS TACTICAL RESPONSE PROGRAMME

The Highfield Awarding Body of Compliance Level 3 Award in Close Protection Operations enables private citizens to seek employment as close protection officers a.k.a. bodyguards in regions which include the Middle-East, Eastern Europe, Western Europe and the United Kingdom.
 
It is delivered by instructors from the British Armed Forces and internationally recognised in the close protection circuit. 
This programme expands the existing skillset of security officers employed by schools, shopping complexes, residents associations and embassies by delivering robust training in conflict management, physical intervention and defensive tactics, supported by role-playing, use of force continuum and radio communications training.
 
it combines the Atlas Defensive Tactics Programme with the Security Operations Level 1 and 2 qualification to develop a skillset which is versatile and all encompassing.

AoFAQ LEVEL 3 AWARD IN THE FIRST PERSON ON SCENE INTERMEDIATE 

ATLAS LEVEL 1 AWARD IN SECURITY OPERATIONS

ATLAS LEVEL 2 AWARD IN SECURITY OPERATIONS

The First Person on Scene Intermediate (FPOSi) qualification provides learners with the knowledge and life savings skills to assess, manage and treat a patient in a trauma and/or medical emergency and to stabilise the patient for up to forty minutes before the ambulance or pre-hospital care providers arrive.
 
It forms one module of the Close Protection Operative award, but is available as a separate module for those working in sectors where there is an increased chance of risk. 

The qualification is regulated by the government department Ofqual and is clinically endorsed by the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, Faculty of Pre-Hospital (FPHC) Care and meets the Level 3 FPHC Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine Skills Framework.
 
The Level 1 Qualification in Security Operations is aimed at businesses who posseses security guards with little to no experience in basic conflict management and physical intervention. 
 
Candidates will be trained in the SAFER and Open PALMS approach along with use of force continuum in empty-handed techniques.
 
They will also be taught non-restrictive disengagement techniques followed by non-restrictive holding and escorting methods. 
 
Candidates will also learn to recognise the effects of anger and to develop appropriate but effective strategies for avoiding, reducing and managing conflict.
The Level 2 Qualification builds on the learning outcomes of Level 1. It introduces candidates to the use of more advanced holding and escorting techniques as well as the use of self-defense equipment under the Defensive Tactics programme. 
 
A module which will be included the Level 2 Award is Defensive Tactics, which focuses on the training and use of the telescopic baton, incapacitant spray and handcuffs to reestablish control from belligerent subjects. 
 
Candidates will be taught the National Decision Making Model which the UK police services use when responding to incidents and interacting with subjects.

ATLAS DEFENSIVE TACTICS PROGRAMME

The Atlas Defensive Tactics Programme delivers a rigorous programme to existing security officers in the deployment and use of the telescopic baton, incapacitant (pepper) spray, tactical handcuffing and empty-handed techniques supported by the Use of Force Continuum and the National Decision Making Model of Conflict Management.
